The Heroes Hall building is essential for carrying out our mission. First, because we believe that collaboration multiplies impact, Douglas County needs a single space where several Veteran-focused organizations can gather under one roof. Second, because Veterans and their families know what they need best, Douglas County needs a space where they can connect with each other and build camaraderie. Third, because we are relational and not bureaucratic, Douglas County needs a space where Veterans and their families feel welcomed, respected, and valued. Finally, because Veterans and their families need pragmatic & grounded solutions, Douglas County needs a central location that can deploy services quickly and efficiently.
